Prior to joining CNBC in 2001, Ms. Quick spent seven years at The Wall Street Journal. There, she covered retail, e-commerce and various Internet issues ranging from online privacy to domain-name disputes. She played a crucial role in the launch of the newspaper’s website in 1996. She also oversaw foreign affairs coverage as the site’s international news editor. Ms. Quick first joined The Journal on their overseas copy desk, where she served as a copy editor, copyreader and research assistant. Ms. Quick received a bachelor’s degree in political science from Rutgers University in 1993. There, she was awarded the Times Mirror Fellowship from the Journalism Resources Institute at Rutgers. |
