He is also a member of the firm’s board of directors and a trustee of the AIM Family of Funds. Mr. Flanagan joined Invesco in 2005 from Franklin Resources, Inc., where he held several executive-level positions in his 12 years there. He served as director, executive vice president and chief operating officer of Templeton, Galbraith & Hansberger, Ltd. before its acquisition by Franklin in 1992. Prior to joining Templeton in 1983, he worked with Arthur Andersen & Co. Mr. Flanagan received his bachelor of arts and bachelor’s in business administration degrees from Southern Methodist University. A CFA charterholder and a certified public accountant, he is vice chairman of the Investment Company Institute. Mr. Flanagan also serves as a member of the executive board at the SMU Cox School of Business and a member of the board of councilors of the Carter Center in Atlanta.
