Peter Crane is president and chief executive officer of Crane Data, LLC, a money market and mutual fund information firm. Crane Data publishes a monthly report of news, analysis, performance statistics and indexes on money market mutual funds and the cash investment industry. Previously, Mr. Crane was vice president and managing editor of iMoneyNet. He is the author of Mutual Fund Investing on the Internet and was previously editor of the investment newsletters Donoghue’s Moneyletter and Fidelity Insight. Mr. Crane studied economics at Brown University.
