As the founder and the CEO of American Realty Capital (ARC), Mr. Schorsch provides institutional investment management to individual investors by sponsoring a variety of securities offerings of publicly registered, nontraded REITs. He also originates, evaluates, acquires and manages single-tenant, freestanding properties. ARC formed Realty Capital Securities, LLC, to distribute public and private direct investment programs and to act as a dealer-manager for several public, nontraded REITs. Prior to ARC, Mr. Schorsch was the CEO, President and Vice-Chairman of American Financial Realty Trust, where he was responsible for more than 1,000 property acquisitions totaling nearly $6 billion. He received the Ernst & Young 2003 Entrepreneur of the Year award.
