	Gary Watkins is a founding partner of ACA Compliance Group (ACA), where he conducts mock inspections of investment advisors and hedge funds. He also assists clients in responding to SEC deficiency letters, reviewing best execution and trading practices, preparing federally compliant advertisements, and developing customized policies and procedures. In addition, he has acted as liaison between his clients and the SEC during regulatory inspections. Prior to joining ACA, Mr. Watkins owned a consulting firm that helped investment advisors with compliance issues. He was also active in lobbying the Virginia General Assembly and the Virginia State Corporation Commission to promote and protect the interests of advisors. Previously, he was a state securities regulator with the Virginia State Corporation Commission's Division of Securities. Mr. Watkins holds degrees in accounting, psychology and criminal justice from Virginia Commonwealth University.
