Wade Spencer is a director of technology consulting for Schwab Advisor Services™. He oversees a team that works with Schwab's clients and prospects to help them create operational efficiencies by consulting with them on workflow processes and optimization, technology usage, and sharing best practices based on the enterprise's two decades of experience serving advisors. In addition, the Technology Consulting team brings field insights to the product development and product management teams at Schwab to ensure the technology platform continues to effectively serve the expanding and maturing needs of independent advisors. Mr. Spencer joined Schwab from Advent Software, where he was a consultant and product marketing manager working with an array of investment managers including hedge funds, mutual fund companies, money managers, investment advisors and bank/trusts in the United States, Europe and Australia. Mr. Spencer received a bachelor of business administration degree in finance from Michigan State University. He holds the Series 7 and 63 licenses.
