	Kevin Kneafsey is managing director and head of research for the client solutions group of Barclays Global Investors (BGI). He is responsible for thinking about the current investment climate from the investor's perspective and researching potential approaches. Prior to assuming this role, he was a senior investment strategist for the global market strategies group, responsible for BGI's U.S.-based market strategies, including Global Ascent, Active Currency and US TAA. Previously, Mr. Kneafsey was an investment strategist in BGI’s asset allocation group, responsible primarily for international and global mandates with a specific focus on international equities. Since joining BGI in 1994, he has worked extensively on the company’s currency management products. Mr. Kneafsey has a doctorate in finance from the University of Arizona.
