Session Title:	Swing Rocks: A Tribute to Filthy-Rich Clients
Session Abstract:	Over the years, members of the Swing Team have shown us that it's entirely possible to write filthy-rich clients in Java™ technology. Of course it is, if you're part of the omnipotent Swing Team, but what about the rest of us? This session shows you that anybody can use cool effects such as transparency and blur and covers how to implement modern animated effects such as the kinetic scrolling introduced in the Apple iPhone. This presentation is targeted at any Java technology developer who's curious about beautiful user interfaces and graphics. • Any application can benefit from a rich user interface. • It's possible for anyone to write rich user interfaces in Java technology. • Animated effects are much easier to write than they look -- impress your friends and family!
