| Both application servers have a nice integration with the • Eclipse IDE based on WTP and EclipseLink JPA Dali tooling. A new Eclipse plug-in is also in progress for offering the Java API for XML Web Services (JAX-WS) Metro Web Services development environment. A cobundle of Eclipse + the GlassFish application server will also be available for Java EE technology developers. • NetBeans IDE, which will start offering Java EE 6 platform support in the NetBeans 7.0 release. This session presents the current Eclipse and NetBeans IDE tooling offering for the GlassFish application server (Java EE 5 and Java EE 6 platforms) as well as previews of the Java Servlet 3.0 API, the JavaServer™ Faces 2.0 platform, JAX-WS Metro Web Services, and Enterprise JavaBeans™ 3.1 (EJB™ 3.1) technology development using the two leading IDEs. |
